Acclaimed young adult author and TV personality David Walliams is no longer with his longtime publishing house, according to an announcement.

A representative for the publisher commented: "Upon deliberation, and with the guidance of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish future works by David Walliams."

Reports indicate that the conclusion was reached following an inquiry regarding allegations of inappropriate behaviour towards women.

The firm did not confirm the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "We refrain from speaking about confidential company decisions."

An Illustrious Writing Journey

Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, with sales exceeding over six tens of millions of copies worldwide in 55 languages.

His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins fifteen years ago.

A number of his titles, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as TV movies.

His bibliography includes more than 40 books altogether, including a Christmas book titled *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins in October.

He first rose to fame on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.

He received an OBE back in 2017 honoring his contributions to the charitable sector and arts community.
